Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the leader of the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction
· Establish customer rapport with products and services
· Educate prospective customers on the superior quality products/services
· Help facilitate post-sale transitions with service/project members
· Continually call on assigned accounts to maintain and expand customer relationships
· Follow-up with existing sales bids and leads.
· Supporting team members and peers to achieve KPIs.
· Effectively and efficiently manage sales leads, customer orders and current projects in Sales Force
· Maintain current knowledge of competitive products and system characteristics, including knowledge of local competitive pricing and must be able to apply economic consideration: first cost, operating cost, owning cost, to projects on candidate is working.
· Work with operations team to prepare and submit all technical data for approval. Review of all submittals and orders prior to processing.
· Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively and report potential claims.
· Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions
Skills and Experience:
· 3-5 years of sales experience within the Industrial, Construction / Service industry (MEP) - Experience in HVAC Sales Highly Preferred
· Demonstrable sales results and an established book of business
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent networking and relationship building skills.
· Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
· Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude
· Proven ability to contribute in a fast-paced environment consistently and positively.
· Ability to effectively communicate with customer leaders of all levels (C-level down to entry-level support roles)
· Ability to work independently and manage personal time, keeping deliverables and deadlines top of mind.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude
· Strong writing, phone, and presentation skills
· Salesforce experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
· Highly competitive base annual salary (DOE) and lucrative performance-based commission/ annual bonus structure.
