About the Client:

Our client is a leading main contractor with a strong presence across Southeast Asia, specializing in complex, mission-critical projects including hyperscale data centers. With several high-value projects in the pipeline, they offer excellent career growth in one of the fastest-growing sectors in construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of all Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) scopes from start to handover.
• Manage coordination between internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Review drawings, designs, and specifications to ensure they meet performance and client requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems.
• Drive project delivery within strict timelines, maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Lead project meetings and manage site reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Oversee and manage MEP budget, resource planning, and progress monitoring.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of MEP project experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record managing data centers, hospitals, cleanrooms, or other mission-critical environments.
• Familiar with local codes, international standards (e.g. ASHRAE, IEEE), and fast-track construction practices.
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing conditions.
• Willing to be based full-time in Johor Bahru and work 6 days/week.
