Our client is a leading MEP contracting firm based in AD are looking to hire experienced MEP Draftsmen to their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings and plans for MEP systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
- Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure that MEP drawings meet project requirements and specifications.
- Review and interpret technical specifications, sketches, and layouts to create accurate and detailed MEP drawings.
- Ensure that MEP drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulation.
- Must be well-versed with ADDC standards.
- Must be well-versed with authorities rules and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs, schedules, and cost estimates for MEP systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to address any design or installation issues that may arise during the construction phase.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience as an MEP Draughtsman or similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
- Knowledge of local and international building codes and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating MEP drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelors or certification in MEP drafting or a related field is required.
