About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic MEP Director to lead and oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of large-scale infrastructure and utility projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing complex MEP operations within mega construction projects, with a proven track record of working alongside regulatory authorities such as Ashghal. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive excellence in project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and strategic oversight for all MEP functions across assigned projects.
• Oversee planning, design, execution, and delivery of MEP systems within infrastructure, utilities, tunnels, underpasses, service corridors, water supply, and drainage networks.
• Ensure compliance with Ashghal standards, regulations, and other relevant authority requirements.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and ensure timely delivery within cost and quality parameters.
• Lead coordination between MEP disciplines and other engineering departments.
• Develop and implement best practices, quality assurance standards, and safety protocols.
• Engage with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and maintain project progress.
• Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and innovation.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in MEP within construction, infrastructure, and utilities.
• Proven expertise in infrastructure and utility projects (tunnels, underpasses, service corridors, water supply & drainage networks).
• Strong background working with Ashghal or similar government/regulatory authorities.
• Demonstrated involvement in mega projects with leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Candidates must already be available in Qatar with a valid QID, passport, and NOC.
