About Our Client

Our client is a hyperscale data center operator providing critical digital infrastructure across Asia-Pacific and Europe.

The Design Manager for Data Center oversees projects from design to implementation, ensuring successful delivery of data center facilities. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to provide high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate designs into overall project plans.
• Provide guidance and expertise in each system to ensure designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
• Implement quality control processes to verify the accuracy and reliability of electrical designs and systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to electrical design and implementation, minimizing project risks.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to specify and select electrical equipment that aligns with design requirements and project needs.
• Prepare and review design documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and reports, ensuring comprehensive and accurate records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Working proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of industry experience, with a strong focus on data center or similar critical infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of local codes and standards.
• Experience in managing and coordinating complex projects, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
