Meet the Team
Corporate Services & Real Estate delivers a world-class workplace through the planning, delivery, and management of the firm’s real estate and services. The Global Project Delivery team leads the delivery of projects across Millennium’s global portfolio, enabling productive, connected, and efficient workplaces for employees and guests.
What You'll Do
- Develop, formalize, and own global CSRE MEP design standards covering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building management systems, metering, fire protection interfaces, and resilience requirements.
- Define mandatory global requirements, permitted regional or building-specific variations, and a clear process for approving derogations.
- Maintain and regularly update a controlled library of specifications, design guidance, and approved products in response to regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and operational feedback.
- Review MEP designs throughout the project lifecycle—from feasibility through commissioning and handover—to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Provide early MEP guidance for site selection, lease negotiations, and landlord works, identifying capacity constraints, risks, and delivery considerations.
- Review and challenge external consultants and contractors on design proposals, value engineering, submittals, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
- Partner with Engineering, local project managers, and consultants to ensure designs support operational requirements, maintainability, resilience, and effective transition into operation.
- Serve as the MEP subject matter expert for global project teams, supporting design, procurement, cost, program, risk, regulatory, and stakeholder coordination decisions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field; chartered status, such as CEng, MCIBSE, MIMechE, or MIET, is desirable.
- At least 10 years of MEP design and/or delivery experience in complex commercial or critical environments, including developing or applying technical standards.
- Experience delivering projects across multiple regions, with strong knowledge of international codes and regional variations.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, UPS/generators, building management systems, public health systems, and sustainability frameworks, including BREEAM, LEED, and WELL.
- Proven ability to review and challenge designs and influence senior stakeholders, consultants, and contractors without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects across time zones.
- Proficiency with relevant design software, including Revit/BIM and AutoCAD; familiarity with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is beneficial.
- Ability to travel internationally to project sites as needed.
