Job Summary

Fatherson International FZC is seeking an experienced
MEP Coordinator
to coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV services for
high-rise buildings, commercial projects, residential developments, and villa projects
. The ideal candidate should have strong site coordination experience and be capable of resolving MEP clashes and ensuring smooth installation as per approved drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Coordinate all
  MEP services
  including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Fighting, and ELV.
• 
  Review
  IFC drawings, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and BIM models
  .
• 
  Coordinate MEP services with
  Architectural, Structural, and Interior
  disciplines.
• 
  Identify and resolve clashes between MEP services and structural/architectural elements.
• 
  Coordinate with BIM Modelers/Draftsmen to ensure accurate coordinated drawings and models.
• 
  Review and approve coordinated shop drawings before site execution.
• 
  Conduct regular
  site inspections and coordination meetings
  with MEP subcontractors and site teams.
• 
  Ensure MEP installations are carried out according to approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• 
  Coordinate
  builders' work openings, sleeves, shafts, ceiling spaces, plant rooms, and service risers
  .
• 
  Coordinate equipment locations, pipe/duct routing, cable trays, access requirements, and maintenance clearances.
• 
  Resolve site coordination issues and provide practical solutions to avoid delays and rework.
• 
  Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.
• 
  Review consultant comments and ensure necessary revisions are incorporated.
• 
  Support preparation and updating of
  as-built drawings
  .
• 
  Monitor progress of MEP works and coordinate activities to meet project schedules.
• 
  Ensure compliance with
  UAE authority requirements and project specifications
  .
