Job Description

Ohel is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and motivating individual to provide one-on-one support to elementary and middle school children experiencing behavioral and/or mental health challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support, skill-building, and mentorship to children.
  • Collaborate with parents, school staff, and the treatment team to promote positive growth and progress.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and help motivate and inspire them to reach their goals.
  • Complete timely and accurate session documentation

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills.
  • Ability to connect with, motivate, and inspire children.
  • High school diploma or GED with at least two years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs required.

This part time position is based in Brooklyn with late afternoon and evening hours available.

Salary: $50.00 per hour
