Overview

Schedule: Monday - Friday I 9:00am - 5:00pm

Location: 65 N 1150 W, Hurricane Utah 84737 (On-site)

Salary:

  • Associate/Provisional: $65,000 - 70,000 per year
  • Fully Licensed: $70,000 - 80,000 per year

Join Embark’s Stabilization and Assessment Program in Hurricane, Utah. As a therapist, you’ll work with highly acute adolescent boys (ages 12–17) and their families through short‑term stabilization and in‑depth assessment. You’ll be part of a collaborative, mission‑driven team that combines clinical excellence with genuine connection, helping teens and families move toward healing and lasting change.

Responsibilities

  • Small caseload: Hold 3–4 clients to support deep therapeutic relationships and consistent clinical engagement.
  • Therapeutic services: Provide individual, family, and group therapy using DBT, TF‑CBT, ACT, Smart Recovery, and Seeking Safety. (Paid training provided!)
  • Care coordination: Partner with families, schools, and providers to implement, monitor, and adjust individualized support plans.
  • Client follow‑through: Maintain accurate documentation, track clinical progress, and ensure clients receive needed services and interventions.
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration: Work closely with psychiatrists, nurses, educators, and program staff to align treatment goals and daily care.
  • Documentation compliance: Complete timely, compliant clinical records that reflect treatment plans, interventions, and measurable outcomes.
  • Discharge & aftercare: Lead clients through discharge planning, coordinate aftercare resources, and ensure continuity of support.
  • Therapeutic presence: Build trust with adolescents through consistent boundaries, compassion, and authentic connection.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree: Master’s in a behavioral health discipline required.
  • Fully licensed: LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC.
  • Associate licensed: CSW, AMFT, ACMHC.
  • Preferred clinical experience: 1–2 years in residential or youth treatment; experience with systemic, relational, or experiential modalities.
  • Credentialing readiness: Must have or be willing to obtain a CAQH profile and NPI number.
  • Background check: Ability to pass a state background check.
