Job Description

Alachua Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for female youth aged 14 to 19. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health & substance abuse services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while in the program.

Compensation: $50,000 Annually

What you will do: As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual, family, and group counseling services to clients and their families according to the needs documented in their assessment and treatment plan. This position reports to the Clinical Director.

To be considered, you should:

  • Have experience in Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Social Work.
  • Have a master’s degree or better. Marriage & Family/Social Work.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical, and TB Test.

Schedule: 5 days a week to include a weekend day, 8 hours a day.
