The Mental Health Technician II provides delegated components of nursing care to patients including monitoring, specimen collection, psycho-education, assistance with activities of daily living and behavior management in accordance with physician orders and established nursing policies and procedures. Care provided is based on defined standards of patient care and practice.
Shift Length (in hours): 8 hours or 12 hours

In addition to the certification and training requirements listed below, indiviudals must possess one of the three following education and work experience combinations to be eligible for the position of Mental Health Technician II.
