SequelCare of Maine, established in 2010, helps children, teens, adults and families with their behavioral and home health needs. We have offices in Yarmouth, Bangor and Searsport and serve clients throughout the state. We are part of a national organization, Sequel Youth and Family Services, and are a growing agency dedicated to the professional development of our programs and staff. Mental Health Rehabilitation Technicians (MHRT-1) work in our clients’ homes and the community in our Daily Living Skills Program. They build relationships and trust with their adult clients living with persistent mental health challenges. They assist clients in identifying their goals and interests and support them in actively making progress on their goals. MHRTs act as a role model, may administer medication, assist with personal care, and inspire clients to be as independent as possible, both at home and in the community. They also provide crisis support when necessary.

Requirements:
• Education: High School diploma or GED
• Certification: Staff must be committed to earning their Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician-1 within one year of their date of hire. Staff must complete CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience: One year of experience working with adults in a supervised setting or relevant life experience
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Founded in 1999, Sequel Youth & Family Services is a leading national behavioral health organization that develops and operates a broad continuum of treatment programs for children, adolescents, adults, and families with severe behavioral health, emotional, and physical challenges.
