This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center, 1510 Grays Hwy, Ridgeland, SC 29936.
As the Mental Health Professional, you will provide assessments and crisis interventions for children, their families as well as other direct services, (group, family, etc.). Provides assessment and crisis intervention services for adults within the clinic, when required. Serve as liaison for the Colleton County Schools, DSS and Family Court.
This position MAY be eligible for BHDD-OMH Student Loan Repayment to cover some of the cost of your outstanding loan(s) balance associated with the completion of a healthcare degree that is relevant to the appliable position.

Coastal Empire CMHC is an approved site of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), which offers student loan repayment of up to $50,000.00 to employees of NHSC- approved sites. You must be a US Citizen, you must be licensed to practice independently in the state where you are hired and you must have unpaid government or commercial school loans. There is a two-year service commitment required as well. Confirmation of qualifying for this loan repayment program is the responsibility of every applicant - we cannot guarantee your qualification.
