NET is looking for experienced Mental Health Professionals!

As a Mental Health Professional in urban Philadelphia, you will be an integral part of our family-based team at NET that is dedicated to serving an underserved population. This role combines clinical expertise with a deep understanding of the socio-cultural context of urban communities, focusing on providing mental health support to families within their own environment. You will work closely with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders to address mental health needs and promote holistic well-being.

Minimum

Qualifications

  • Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or mental health related field.

  • Experience working with children and families (preferred).

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of family systems' treatment modalities.

  • Flexibility in scheduling, including evening and weekend hours

  • Travel is expected to home visits, community meetings and outreach activities

We have a range of services throughout our many locations that include foster care, school therapeutic services, and residential/outpatient programs for addiction recovery.

A Community Umbrella Agency (CUA) committed to helping ensure safety, timely permanency, and well-being, for children and families in the 25th and 22nd districts of Philadelphia.

What is a Community Umbrella Agency (CUA)? Community Umbrella Agencies (CUA’s) are community-based agencies that are responsible for providing direct case management services to families in their designated region. The CUA’s ensure that local solutions and resources are more accessible to children and families. Through community engagement initiatives, CUA staff develop connections to formal and informal neighborhood networks that can strengthen and stabilize families. They also recruit and retain foster and adoptive parents in the neighborhoods where children live.
