
Occupational Therapist
Location: Essex
Contract: Permanent / Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their mental health and rehabilitation services. The role involves providing person-centred OT interventions to support recovery, independence, and daily functioning for clients with a variety of mental health and neuro-rehabilitation needs.
Conduct assessments of clients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental needs
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Deliver therapy through individual and group sessions using therapeutic exercises, sensory integration, and coping skills training
Recommend and provide adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with caregivers
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to care reviews
BSc (Hons) or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
HCPC registration
Experience in occupational therapy, ideally with mental health or neuro-rehabilitation
Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
