Priory Hospital Arnold has an opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the team.
Our acute services offer round-the-clock assistance in times of emergencies. Our specialist inpatient acute teams are committed to providing the highest quality of care, supporting patients with a wide range of mental health conditions in safe and highly therapeutic environments.
What you'll be doing

- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, develop and review care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medication safely and in line with NMC and Medicines Management standards.
- Work collaboratively within the Multi-Disciplinary Team to support positive patient outcomes.
- Manage risk, respond to changes in patients' mental and physical health, and maintain a safe therapeutic environment.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration.
Minimum 6 months post-registration experience within a mental health setting.
Completed preceptorship programme.
Knowledge of the NMC Code, safeguarding, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
Strong communication, assessment and care planning skills.
Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and continuous professional development.
The following experience would be beneficial
Experience working within inpatient mental health services.
Experience acting as a Named Nurse and coordinating patient care.
Experience leading shifts or supporting junior staff.
Confidence working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
Experience managing complex mental health presentations and risk.
Knowledge of Priory systems, policies or specialist mental health services. (Not stated in the JD – only include if confirmed by the hiring manager.)
