đ° Pay Range: $32.40â$34.20/hour + Shift Differential for Evening & Night Shiftsđ Various Shifts Available: Days | Evenings | Nights | Weekendsđ Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
As a Mental Health LPN/LVN, youâll work alongside mental health professionals, medical providers, and correctional staff to provide quality care to individuals within the Alabama Department of Corrections. Youâll have the opportunity to strengthen your clinical skills while providing care to patients with a variety of behavioral and mental health needs.
Responsibilities may include performing patient assessments, administering medications, supporting treatment plans, monitoring changes in patientsâ physical and mental health, and responding to urgent clinical needs.

As a Mental Health LPN/LVN, you will play a critical role in providing quality healthcare that protects the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Working alongside mental health and medical professionals, you will support patients with a variety of behavioral health and clinical needs. Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
