Join our Mental Health Associates providing support to our clients through multi-modal group sessions, patient break supervision, routine monitoring of urine drug screens, and multiple assigned clerical and operational activities! High Focus Centers in Parsippany is a premier provider of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our highly trained staff create individualized, comprehensive and robust treatment plans designed to meet each client’s treatment goals.   • Hourly Rate: $17.00/hour
  • Address: 99 Cherry Hill Rd #220, Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ 07054
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday varied between 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 8:30a-4:30p or 9a-5p

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitor and observe clients throughout the treatment day to support safety, engagement, and therapeutic structure within the milieu environment.
  • Facilitate and/or assist with didactic, psychoeducational, experiential, and multimodal group sessions as assigned.
  • Supervise client breaks, activities, transportation, and other program-related functions as assigned.
  • Support the treatment team in crisis intervention efforts and respond appropriately to behavioral health or risk-related situations.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, therapeutic, and recovery-oriented treatment environment.
  • Establish and maintain professional rapport and healthy boundaries with clients, families, referral sources, and team members.
  • Assist with collection, monitoring, and documentation of urine screenings and other program-related monitoring activities as assigned.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant client documentation, reports, chart reviews, and clerical support activities as required.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and multidisciplinary treatment team members regarding client behaviors, concerns, and treatment-related issues.
  • Support continuity of care through coordination with treatment team members and participation in team meetings and program activities.
  • Demonstrate culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches when interacting with clients and families.
  • Assist with transportation services and maintain compliance with organizational driver safety requirements if assigned driving responsibilities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, trainings, drills, and continuing education activities as required.
  • Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information. 
  • Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Drivers License required
