*This position is school-based, located at Huntingon Local Schools. We are hiring for 2 positions.

The Therapist at Anew Behavioral Health provides therapeutic services to clientsof all agesfacing behavioral health issues and substance use disorders (SUD). This role involves the application of specialized clinical knowledge and advanced counseling skills to conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver effective psychotherapy in various settings, including office, community, and telehealth. The Therapist collaborates with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support clients in their recovery and ensure holistic care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize specialized clinical knowledge and advanced counseling skills to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and perform diagnostic interviews for behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) clients.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family-oriented therapy sessions to address client needs and promote recovery.
  • Maintainaccuratedocumentation of servicesrendered, client progress, and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, their families, case managers, and referral sources to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Work with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique circumstances and goals.
  • Participate in regular care conferences and case reviews to enhance treatment effectiveness and client engagement.
  • Attend Supervision asrequired.
  • Ensure compliance with agency, federal, and state confidentiality standards and HIPAA regulations.

Supervision Given:

This position does not supervise any staff.

Supervision Received:

The therapist will report to theOperations Manager

Qualifications

  • Mustbe licensed to practice in the state of Ohio.
  • NPI number and Ohio Medicaid ID are preferred andrequiredto start work.

Education

  • Amaster’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field isrequired.
  • Bachelors may be accepted withadditionallicensure and experience

Certification

  • Current licensureor provisional licensure in the state services are rendered.

Experience

  • Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly in behavioral health and SUD counseling, is preferred.

Physical Effort:

  • Primarily requires sitting while conducting therapy sessions, with occasional movement within the office or community setting.

Background:
