Reporting to the Regional Communciations Advisor, the Coordinator will provide technical leadership and support to the Country Offices in the MENA region towards achieving their communications objectives, as well as helping manage regional and country-level communications and media engagement in a manner that raises CARE's public profile and influence with key audiences.
The Communications Coordinator will also help develop, produce and strengthen content to enhance marketing, fundraising and outreach efforts. Additionally, the Communications Coordinator and will help archive and organize communications material and be responsible for information management and sharing.
The Communications Coordinator will support in developing and regularly updating programmatic updates to better tell the story of CARE's work across the region. The Communications Coordinator will support communications teams across the MENA country offices in the following areas: donor communications, public information, media, advocacy, emergency and internal communications.

Monitor local, regional and international media for issues and developments of importance to CARE's operations and reputation at the country, regional and global level, including mentions of CARE in the media.
