Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift

As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world

A day in the Life:

  • Operating cartridge equipment to pleat, trim, cut seal membrane media, sub assemble, cap, final assembly, testing, drying and packaging of cartridges.
  • Performing various production operations including the operating of multiple machines, where it can be done safely, and filling in on positions throughout manufacturing operations as required.
  • Observing all company and OSHA safety rules and practices. Keeping the work area clean and orderly.
  • Assisting in change over and setup on production line and equipment.
  • Assisting other department members as needed to ensure safety and maximize output. Assisting in the training of other employees as necessary.
  • Completing quality checks and, if a discrepancy is found, working with appropriate team members to solve the problem.
  • Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start).

Experience

  • 3+ years or more of plant, manufacturing, and/or warehouse experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to work 2nd Shift (Friday Afternoon; 3pm - 11:15 pm)
  • Ability to work weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds unassisted and up to 70 pounds with assistance.
  • Post-high school education
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Good communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $24.32–$36.49.
