The Engagement Manager (EM) will be responsible for driving member engagement, retention, and revenue growth across assigned accounts in Latin America, with a primary focus on Colombia and selected Spanish-speaking LATAM markets. The role requires a consultative approach to account management, business development, and industry relationship building. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to member organizations while representing TM Forum's value proposition across digital transformation, AI, autonomous networks, Open Digital Architecture (ODA), and emerging telecom industry priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed revenue targets for new memberships, membership renewals, and the sale of TM Forum services and programs, including training, coaching, certifications, conformance programs, events, and industry initiatives.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of member and prospect accounts across Colombia and selected Latin American markets.

  • Develop and execute account plans that drive member engagement, retention, expansion opportunities, and long-term strategic relationships.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and executive engagement.

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts, engaging stakeholders from operational teams through C-suite executives.

  • Conduct business reviews and strategic discussions with members to understand priorities, challenges, and opportunities for TM Forum collaboration.

  • Support sponsorship, exhibition, research, media, and event sales activities by identifying opportunities within assigned accounts.

  • Maintain accurate opportunity, forecast, account, and engagement records within Salesforce and other reporting systems.

  • Collaborate closely with Program Management, Marketing, Research, Sales Enablement, and regional leadership teams to ensure member needs are reflected in TM Forum programs and value propositions.

  • Represent TM Forum at industry conferences, webinars, trade associations, and customer events throughout Latin America.

  • Build and maintain knowledge of regional telecom, technology, and digital transformation trends to become a trusted advisor to members.

  • Provide market intelligence regarding competitive activity, regulatory developments, industry initiatives, and emerging challenges facing telecom operators and ecosystem partners in Latin America.

  • Work effectively across multiple cultures, time zones, and international teams to support regional and global objectives.

  • Deliver professional presentations, proposals, account reviews, and executive communications in both English and Spanish.

Experience and Requirements:

Essential

  • 5+ years of experience within the telecommunications, technology, digital services, or related industry.

  • Proven account management, customer success, business development, or consultative sales experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to build executive-level relationships and engage senior decision-makers.

  • Experience managing revenue targets, renewals, pipeline development, and customer engagement activities.

  • Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English, with exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills in both languages.

  • Strong understanding of the telecommunications ecosystem, including service providers, technology vendors, cloud providers, and digital service organizations.

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and managing forecast, pipeline, and account reporting.

  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record of achieving growth and retention objectives.

Preferred

  • Experience working across Latin American markets, particularly Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Central America, and the Caribbean.

  • Knowledge of industry transformation initiatives including AI, automation, autonomous networks, customer experience modernization, cloud transformation, and Open Digital Architecture (ODA)

  • Experience engaging with telecom operators, CSPs, system integrators, and technology partners.

  • Familiarity with membership organizations, industry associations, standards bodies, or technology consortiums.

  • Experience presenting at industry events, conferences, or executive workshops.

    Additional Region-Specific Language

  • Location: Colombia (remote)

  • Travel: Regular travel throughout Colombia and Latin America, with occasional international travel.

  • Languages: Professional-level fluency in Spanish and English required. Portuguese is an advantage.

  • Geographic Scope: Colombia with responsibilities extending across selected Latin American markets and strategic regional accounts.
