What You Will Do
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to validate design integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to evaluate product durability and functionality.
- Iterate on designs based on testing results and user feedback to optimize performance.
- Contribute to the development of materials and finishes (CMF) that enhance product aesthetics and usability.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in robotics or hardware manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD and FEA tools such as ANSYS or Abaqus.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with product lifecycle management and iterative design processes.
Preferred
- Familiarity with consumer product design and development.
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of advanced materials and manufacturing techniques.
Compensation and Benefits
