As mobile becomes an increasingly important part of the expert experience, the company is investing in a world-class native iOS platform. This engineer will help build the mobile applications that thousands of experts use daily to discover opportunities, complete onboarding, collaborate with AI-powered workflows, and engage with the platform. You'll join a small, high-impact team with significant ownership and help establish the future of the company's mobile engineering organization.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Own features end-to-end, from product discovery and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, AI, and Backend Engineering to deliver polished mobile experiences.
• Build reusable SwiftUI components and contribute to scalable mobile architecture.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, testing, and release processes.
• Develop intuitive, high-quality user experiences that improve engagement and retention.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering productivity while maintaining high quality.
• Contribute to long-term mobile architecture, engineering standards, and platform evolution.
• Continuously improve the mobile experience through customer feedback, experimentation, and rapid iteration.
• Help shape the future of the company's mobile platform as it scales globally.

Ideal Background

• 2–5+ years of professional software engineering experience building native iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Experience shipping and maintaining production applications through the Apple App Store.
• Strong understanding of modern iOS architecture, application lifecycle, and mobile engineering best practices.
• Experience building high-quality user interfaces with a strong attention to performance and usability.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals including testing, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar.
• Excellent product instincts with a passion for creating exceptional mobile user experiences.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with evolving priorities.
• High ownership mindset and ability to independently drive projects to completion.

Preferred

• Experience building consumer-facing or marketplace mobile applications.
• Familiarity with modern mobile architecture patterns and reusable UI component libraries.
• Experience collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• Startup experience with significant ownership across the full product lifecycle.
• Experience integrating AI-powered features or intelligent workflows into mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization, testing, and release automation.
• Passion for building intuitive, polished mobile experiences with exceptional attention to detail.
• Interest in AI infrastructure, developer productivity, and rapidly evolving technology platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $130,000–$300,000.
