Title of Role: Member of Technical Staff (AI Platform / Forward-Deployed Engineering)
Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site, 5 days/week)
Company Stage of Funding: Seed / Early Growth (~$11M raised, well-capitalized)
Office Type: On-site
Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 + Competitive Equity

This is a highly product-driven, fast-paced environment where engineering output is rapidly deployed into production enterprise environments with real customer impact.
What You Will Do
- Own and ship full-stack features end-to-end across a TypeScript/React platform
- Build and deploy AI-powered systems used directly by Fortune 100 customers
- Work closely with enterprise customers to understand workflows and translate them into AI solutions
- Act as a forward-deployed engineer embedded in customer environments when needed
- Design and build agentic systems integrated with real enterprise data and tooling
- Operate across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and AI systems as needed
- Rapidly prototype and productionize AI workflows in real-world environments
- Build integrations into enterprise systems and internal tooling stacks
- Make high-judgment decisions on architecture, product direction, and tradeoffs
- Iterate quickly in tight feedback loops with customers and internal teams
- Help define engineering culture and product execution standards in an early-stage team
Ideal Candidate Background
- 0–5 years of experience in software engineering (full-stack preferred)
- Strong experience with TypeScript and production system development
- Has built and shipped real production systems or products end-to-end
- Experience at high-growth product companies or strong startup environments
- Strong systems thinking and ability to work across the stack
- Comfortable working directly with customers in technical environments
- Strong product intuition and ability to operate in ambiguity
- Experience building or experimenting with AI systems is highly preferred
Preferred
- Experience at companies like Stripe, Ramp, Vercel, Cursor, Notion, or similar
- Experience in forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or customer-facing roles
- Exposure to AI agents, LLM applications, or workflow automation systems
- Experience building full-stack SaaS products in fast-moving environments
- Strong academic background in CS, Math, EE, or related fields
- Founding engineer or startup builder experience
- Strong GitHub or shipped product portfolio
Strong Signals
- Has built and shipped real production products (not just coursework/projects)
- Strong full-stack TypeScript ability (React + backend systems)
- Experience working directly with users or enterprise customers
- Evidence of strong product sense and execution speed
- Experience building AI-native applications or agent workflows
- High agency + bias for action in ambiguous environments
- Ability to move between product, engineering, and customer context fluidly
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $150,000 – $220,000
