Job Description

Blue Light Card. Individually great, together unstoppable

The Role and the Team

Member growth sits at the heart of everything Blue Light Card does. Every day, millions of NHS workers, emergency services personnel, social care professionals, teachers and armed forces members rely on us to help them save money. We are growing fast, and this role exists to help us grow smarter.

You will sit within a small, focused growth team that spans paid performance and member organisation management. The role has two connected work streams: nurturing the organisations that help unlock member sign-ups at scale, whilst also supporting direct-to-consumer paid performance channels.

It is a broad, hands-on role that rewards curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn. We are looking for someone who gets the concepts, loves to test and improve, and wants to grow with us.

What You'll Do

  • Support automated outreach to member organisations, helping to keep them engaged from onboarding onwards
  • Segment the member organisation base and test and refine messaging to improve engagement and response rates
  • Support member organisations in promoting BLC's offering to their employees, helping turn organisational partnerships into member sign-ups and activation
  • Support account management with engagement and usage reporting for member organisations, helping demonstrate value and support renewals
  • Plan, run and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and emerging channels, with a focus on improving CPA, ROAS and conversion rate
  • Design and run A/B tests and build high-converting campaigns and landing pages to improve sign-up and activation rates
  • Build dashboards and translate campaign, funnel and channel data into clear, actionable insight using tools such as GA4 and Amplitude
  • Collaborate with teams across CRM, Brand, Social, Content, Product and Partnerships to deliver integrated growth campaigns

What You'll Bring

  • Experience building automated outreach workflows and lifecycle comms in a CRM platform - the concepts matter more than a specific tool
  • A genuine curiosity about how organisations and businesses work, and how to communicate with them effectively
  • Experience in growth, performance, digital or acquisition marketing, with some hands-on involvement across the campaign lifecycle
  • Some exposure to paid campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, Meta or TikTok
  • A strong test-and-learn mindset and confidence using data to make decisions, using tools such as GA4 or Amplitude
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and an understanding of landing page optimisation principles
  • A genuine interest in how AI and emerging digital tools are changing growth marketing
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working at pace in a fast-moving environment

Our Culture

Our mission is simple – make heroes happy. Our members are the real-life heroes who keep us all safe, cared for, and thriving. It's what gets us up in the morning and pushes us to go further, think bigger, and create something that truly matters. By focusing on their happiness, we create amazing experiences, deliver unrivalled discounts, innovative products, and world-class service.

We don't just follow the usual path - we look for smarter, bolder ways to deliver real impact. We take ownership, move fast, and work shoulder to shoulder to build something special.

We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team where everyone feels they belong. Different perspectives and experiences help us grow, innovate, and better reflect the communities we serve.

We promote hybrid working, and value in-person collaboration so encourage time in our offices, where you can make the most of our fully stocked snack drawers – either the HQ in Leicestershire, or London, Holborn office. The frequency and office location will vary depending on the role and team. We aim to be flexible, but we aren't able to offer fully remote working.

Blue Light Card is an equal opportunities employer. We believe that employing a diverse workforce is key to our success. We make recruiting decisions based on your experience and skills. In the event of a high number of applications, we'll prioritise candidates who meet both the essential and desirable criteria for the role.

What We Offer

  • Hybrid working and flexible hours
  • EV charging and free parking onsite at HQ
  • 25 days annual leave plus an additional day off for your birthday, and a buy and sell holiday scheme of up to 5 days
  • A company bonus scheme
  • Your own Blue Light Card and exclusive access to thousands of discounts
  • Generous funded BUPA medical insurance covering pre-existing conditions
  • Auto-enrolment pension scheme via salary sacrifice, with employer NI savings reinvested into pensions
  • Enhanced parental leave and absence leave
  • Healthcare cashback plan
  • Employee assistance programme (including mental health support) and mental health first aiders
  • Great social events e.g., festive party, summer party, team socials, sports matches
  • Regular company-wide recognition events e.g. monthly Light's Up and annual Shine awards
  • Relaxed dress code and modern office space (games area, chill-out areas, book club, free drinks/snacks)
