Are you a natural connector with a passion for creating unforgettable events? As a Meeting & Events Specialist Intern at Zoku Amsterdam (starting in August 2026), you’ll be the first point of contact for all meeting and event reservations, guiding clients from their first inquiry to a flawless post-event experience. Whether it's qualifying leads, hosting site visits, or ensuring smooth coordination with our operations team, you’ll play a key role in making every event at Zoku a success.
You’ll work closely with our M&E Specialist, as well as the Sales and Operations teams, to optimize bookings, refine event processes, and build strong relationships with clients. From negotiating contracts and upselling services to ensuring seamless handovers, you’ll have a direct impact on both guest satisfaction and Zoku’s event success.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a people-first environment, has an eye for detail, and loves turning great ideas into reality. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No day looks the same as a Meeting & Events Specialist Intern… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:
Be the first point of contact You’ll handle the M&E inbox and phone calls, qualify leads, conduct site visits, and guide clients from inquiry to booking.
Make every event countYou’ll manage contracts, negotiations, and upselling, ensuring that each event is optimized for both the client and Zoku.
Own the event process from start to finish: You’ll coordinate with the Operations Team, making sure all relevant details are received, communicated, and flawlessly executed.
Keep relationships strongYou’ll manage post-event feedback, invoicing, and account relationships, helping to build long-term loyalty with partners.

A FEW MUST HAVES
You are a student at a hospitality university and need to do a mandatory administrative – or graduation internship (min. 6 months) as part of your curriculum.
You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit for Austria.
You are available to start in August 2026 and can work five days a week.

THE END OF THE HOTEL ROOM

Bye-bye traditional hotel rooms. We did 150 interviews with our target audience and made 6 different prototypes to create the award-winning Zoku Loft: a spacious micro apartment designed for living comfortably and working efficiently.
In a regular hotel room or studio apartment, the bed always dominates. In the Zoku Loft, the big kitchen table serves as a focal point, shifting the center of the space from the bed to the living room. Now you have a truly livable home to explore Paris and work abroad for as long as you want.
ROOFTOP MEETING ROOMS & EVENT SPACES
Say goodbye to boring conference rooms and dull events. Our rooftop meeting venue is designed to fuel connections, spark ideas, and drive productivity. All of our meeting rooms are flooded with natural light and have amazing views overlooking the city.
On top of this, our friendly team of Sidekicks is on hand to help with whatever you may need, whether that’s providing delicious food and drinks from our on-site restaurant or helping you book an overnight stay in a Loft. Host a brainstorm session, networking event, presentation, or workshop, we can do it all!
