Job Description:

<Engineering>

Develop the required capabilities in Engineering, Technology, Systems, and Automation, and be responsible for planning and executing larger, high-impact initiatives such as automation projects.

<Responsibilities>

• Deliver the implementation of equipment and applications, as well as facility management initiatives planned at the regional/global level, according to plan and with minimal effort, while gaining stakeholder understanding and avoiding any impact on operations.
• Respond to and resolve issues when they arise.
• Plan budgets appropriately and ensure spending is executed as planned.
• Provide the above support to APAC countries outside Japan when requested locally, in collaboration with local team members.
• Ensure that all activities and solutions fully comply with applicable compliance requirements.
• May serve as the owner of individual solutions.
• Vendor Management (System/Engineering service providor (local/overses))

<Required Experience>

• Experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various devices in collaboration with business functions, in addition to performing engineering activities.

<Preferred Experience>

• Experience working in a Quality function.
• Experience in the healthcare industry or supply chain field.

<Required Qualifications>

• Japanese: Native level.
• English: Business level (approximately TOEIC 800; ability to communicate by email and participate in teleconferences in English).
• Professional experience using English, including communication with overseas teams and colleagues from other countries.
• Understanding of return on investment and the ability to apply ROI thinking to business cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact smoothly in both Japanese and English with global, Asia-Pacific regional, and domestic stakeholders.
