Truck & Trailer Parts Specialist $70,000+ Annually

Location: Cumberland, RI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts, no weekends)
Pay: $50,000 – $70,000 per year + bonus opportunities
Pay Schedule: Weekly

5+ Years of Professional Medium / Heavy Duty / Trailer Parts Experience REQUIRED

Promotive is hiring a Truck & Trailer Parts Specialist for a well-established, high-performing repair facility in Cumberland, RI This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role supporting a busy shop that specializes in medium- and heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in identifying and sourcing correct parts for medium- and heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Look up parts using catalogs, vendor systems, and online databases
• Provide accurate pricing, availability, and timelines for parts orders
• Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently
• Maintain organized inventory and accurate records of parts and sales
• Monitor stock levels and ensure critical parts are readily available
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Support overall shop efficiency by keeping technicians equipped with the right parts

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a parts counter, parts specialist, or similar role preferred
• Strong knowledge of medium-duty, heavy-duty truck, and trailer parts required
• Familiarity with parts lookup systems and inventory management software
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Valid driver’s license preferred
