MEDITECH Analyst – LIS (Interface Validation & Troubleshooting)

Classification: Contract

Duration: 3 months

Location: Remote / WFH

CereCore is seeking to hire a MEDITECH LIS Analyst to support a MEDITECH Expanse wave initiative with HCA Healthcare. This role will focus heavily on interface troubleshooting, validation, and remediation activities between MEDITECH Expanse, MAGIC and LabCorp environments.

This resource will support order workflow validation activities originating in Expanse and ensure successful interface connectivity and transmission between systems. The analyst will partner closely with the validation team to identify, troubleshoot, and remediate interface and workflow-related issues tied to laboratory integrations and build activities.

The ideal candidate will have general MEDITECH Expanse and MAGIC exposure, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, and experience supporting LIS or healthcare interoperability workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Build and map MAGIC tests within the database environment.
  • Validate interface connectivity between MAGIC and LabCorp for orders originating in Expanse.
  • Monitor order workflows and validate successful transmission and return of orders through the interface environment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and remediation activities related to interface and validation issues.
  • Partner closely with the validation team to identify workflow issues and assist with remediation efforts.
  • Support testing and validation activities tied to MEDITECH Expanse and MAGIC integrations.
  • Assist with identifying root cause issues impacting interface workflows and coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Maintain documentation related to validation activities, issue tracking, and remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, technical, and operational teams.
  • Independently monitor work for accuracy and completeness while managing multiple priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding issue status, testing progress, and workflow concerns.

Position Requirements

  • General MEDITECH Expanse and MAGIC exposure.
  • Experience supporting troubleshooting and validation workflows.
  • General Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) knowledge.
  • Ability to monitor and validate interface workflows between systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to workflow validation and issue remediation.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented healthcare IT environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Interface or interoperability experience.
  • Basic build or mapping knowledge to assist with troubleshooting and remediation activities.
  • Prior experience working with LabCorp integrations.
  • Previous healthcare IT integration experience.
  • Exposure to laboratory workflows or LIS operational environments.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant healthcare IT / LIS experience will be considered.
