What you'll be working on as a Mendix Consultant

Low-Code is evolving rapidly. Organizations no longer use Mendix simply to build applications faster.They increasingly rely on Low-Code to modernize business-critical processes, integrate complex enterprise landscapes, accelerate digital transformation, and unlock the value of AI.

As a Mendix Consultant within our Enterprise Low-Code cluster, you help organizations translate business challenges into innovative and scalable solutions. You combine technical expertise, consultancy skills, and business understanding to design, build, and deliver applications that create real business value.

You will work on enterprise-scale solutions in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with specialists in architecture, integration, cloud, AI, security, and data. This enables you to grow beyond Mendix and gain experience in solving complex business challenges for large organizations.

In this role you will be working on

• Designing, developing, and optimizing Mendix applications that create value for clients, from solutions supporting smaller processes to larger business-critical applications.
• Translating business challenges into impactful Low-Code solutions together with clients and project teams.
• Working with domain modelling, microflows, nanoflows, security, integrations, data management and performance within the Mendix platform.
• Applying AI capabilities, automation, and modern development practices within Mendix solutions.
• Learning on the job while taking taking more ownership within Agile, Scrum, or DevOps teams.
• Contributing to the growth of junior colleagues by sharing knowledge and experience.
• Developing a second area of expertise alongside Mendix, for example UI/UX, integrations, high-code, security, or performance.

Your profile

You have:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience with Mendix development.
• A technical foundation through an IT-related degree or experience in software engineering, low-code, and traditional software development environments.
• Experience with Mendix platform development: domain modelling, microflows, nanoflows, security implementation, integrations, data management, and performance optimization.
• Consultancy skills and the ability to understand business challenges before defining technical solutions.
• The willingness to learn on the job, support junior colleagues and broaden your expertise beyond Mendix.
• An AI mindset and a genuine interest in the convergence of AI and Low-Code, including technologies such as Mendix Maia, AI-enabled business processes, and AI agents.
• Excellent Dutch language skills are required, as the majority of our clients operate in Dutch-speaking environments.

Preferred certifications

• Mendix Intermediate certification (Advanced preferred).

You will join the Low-Code cluster, a close-knit community of over 50 professionals ranging from ambitious young talent to highly experienced technology and consulting experts.
