Have you ever switched between energy suppliers? If so, there’s a good chance you’ve already come into contact with the Gridhub platform. Gridhub (part of Eneve) is a SaaS solution for energy suppliers. Our products simplify and automate a large portion of suppliers’ core processes. Because we work with more than 18 energy suppliers, joining Gridhub as a developer means having a significant impact on some of the most important developments within the energy transition.

About the role

As a Frontend Developer at Gridhub, you will work with the Utrecht-based team to build and enhance various products within our product suite. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the user-facing applications that our customers interact with every day.

You will primarily work with React and Vue.js to build customer portals, mobile applications, and internal tools. Together with the backend team, which develops our core services in PHP and Laravel, you will help translate complex energy processes and large volumes of data into intuitive, fast, and user-friendly experiences.

At Gridhub, you will work on applications that serve hundreds of thousands of consumers and business users. Think of real-time energy consumption insights, self-service customer portals, and tools that support energy suppliers in their daily operations.

As one of the key frontend developers within the team, you will have significant ownership over the frontend landscape. Beyond delivering new features, you will actively contribute to architectural decisions, frontend standards, component design, performance optimization, and the overall user experience. You will have the opportunity to shape how our frontend applications evolve as our platform continues to grow.

Requirements

What we expect of you

• Demonstrated experience building modern frontend applications using React and/or Vue.js;
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Familiarity with PHP and Laravel;
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs;
• A good understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and maintainability.
