In addition to its services in the security sector, Securitas also offers high-tech

security solutions such as integrated wireless, security, and ICT solutions.

Securitas is active in sectors such as industry, public transport, government, police,

defense, telecom, and in cities and municipalities. We also operate our own growing cloud

infrastructure, in which we offer Iaas and Managed Services.

Would you like to be part of a dynamic and growing company with its own Technology department? We

are looking for a Senior Engineer who will take on the following responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the technical design and validation of ICT solutions (network and security)

for our customers;

• You will also want to invest in expanding your knowledge of security-related tools such as PAM, vulnerability scanning,

and threat prevention;

• You will broaden and maintain your knowledge of the various systems and solutions in terms of

network and ICT security and maintain close contact with suppliers to keep up to date

with new applications and products;

• You are responsible for installing the systems, both at the hardware level and at the

software level;

• You help maintain the network and security aspects of a private cloud solution and expand

it further;

• You will work closely with the project managers and be the technical expert during the implementation

of the project;

• After installation, you will provide the customer with hands-on, on-site training on the various

functionalities of our solutions;

• You will work in a customer-focused ICT team consisting of system administrators, application experts,

and other network/security engineers. In addition to working on individual projects, there is a lot of

interaction and knowledge sharing;

• You will be responsible for investigating and solving problems with existing

installations (2nd & 3rd line support).

• You will enjoy a healthy mix of office/data center/customer visits and remote/home working.

Functie-eisen

• You have a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent through experience;

• You have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar Network Security position;

• Your technical knowledge includes:

o Setting up and managing redundant and centrally managed Firewalls (Next gen), e.g.:

Fortinet/Palo Alto

o Network Security, Threat prevention, segmentation, ACL, Identification, 802.1x

o Patch/Update management, Vulnerability Management / Pen testing reporting

o Experience with Anti Virus and optional interest/experience in EDR

o Networking: L1 connectivity, Layer 2 Switching, Layer 3 Routing (Statis and BGP),

Policy-based routing, Multicast/Anycast, Nat, Ipv4/Ipv6

o Hardware installation+management+security (Routers, Switches, Access points)

o Ipsec VPN

o DNS, DHCP, NTP, Encryption protocols, SNMP

o Load balancing/Proxy

o Good basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMWare;

o Basic knowledge: SIP,

o Knowledge of Cisco Meraki is a plus

• You are customer-oriented, able to consult effectively with colleagues and customers, but also able to

put the necessary information on paper (documentation);

• You have a good command of Dutch (spoken and written) and English (spoken), and

at least a basic knowledge of French (spoken)

• You are flexible and mobile for travel throughout Belgium to customers and data centers.

• You are willing to participate in a compensated 24/7 on-call system

• You are analytical, organized, structured, and eager to learn

• You understand how cloud infrastructure can be connected (network setup/leased lines between

sites)
