Medior Data Architect

We are looking for a Medior Data Architect to support the development of a modern Azure Data Platform and Digital Twin initiatives in a Smart City environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of Azure Data Architecture.
• Support Digital Twin projects involving IoT, geospatial and BIM data.
• Design end-to-end data architectures for real-time ingestion and processing.
• Support CI/CD implementation and Infrastructure as Code using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines and Lakehouse architectures.
• Contribute to data governance, security and data quality initiatives.
• Support AI/ML and advanced analytics integration into the data platform.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and Azure Databricks
• Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps, Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data modelling and Lakehouse/Medallion architectures
• Knowledge of Digital Twins, IoT, geospatial and BIM data
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Power BI and cloud data security
• Knowledge of MDM/EDM, APIs/ESB and modern data governance.
• Understanding of AI/ML and MLOps is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• English: Professional working proficiency

Location: Brussels
Work Arrangement: Full-time, minimum 2 days/week onsite
