Job Description

Pay Range: $25.48 to $26.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Type: Part-time & Full-time available, non-exempt

Shift and Schedule:

  • Part-time AM Shift: Saturday - Monday (6:30AM - 3:00PM), OR
  • Full-time NOC Shift: Wednesday - Sunday (11:00PM - 7:30AM)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a caregiver in senior facilities is required

What are the Qualifications?

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Must undergo a Physical exam, Tuberculosis Screening, resulting in a negative TB diagnosis prior to employment, and Influenza Vaccination (required during flu season: September to March)
  • Must receive clearance by the Department of Social Services on state fingerprint and FBI background check, prior to employment

What Will I Be Doing?

  • Administer medications according to each resident’s individual service plan and under the guidance of a Licensed Nurse
  • Provide one-on-one support for medication administration and ensure residents receive appropriate medication and treatments
  • Accurately record and log all medication administered or changes in the MAR. Verify the accuracy of medications and documentation
  • Assist caregivers with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents as needed, adhering to safety standards and procedures, including coordinating two-person transfers when necessary. Escort residents to and from activities, dining areas, and other locations as required
  • May supervise caregiver’s duties and provide support on completing assignments
  • Conduct daily checks on residents and document any changes in behavior or medical conditions. Report changes to the Licensed Nurse
