Necco has an opportunity for a career as Med Passer.This role will provide the most value to the company by providing excellent care to the clients of Necco Center.The med passer will ensure the safe and accurate administration of medications of all clients in care.

Assessments

  • Assess client needs and refer to appropriate provider as necessary
  • Assess par levels for supplies

Service Delivery

  • Administer client medication and provide ongoing monitoring
  • Ensure supply levels for medical and wellbeing needs are ordered and stocked
  • Administrative duties as needed i.e. scanning and filing paperwork
  • Accompany and assist in medical visits for clients

Data Entry

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medication administration to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Necco policy
  • Complete medication administration in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure that information from medical appointments is received by nursing in a timely manner

Training and Development

  • Attend all required trainings and departmental meetings as directed
  • Complete therapeutic behavior support/rehabilitation services as directed by supervisor

Position Qualifications

  • Preferred CNA/STNA or certified med tech
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 100/300/100 Auto Insurance Coverage
  • Must be willing to be on an on-call rotation
  • Must be willing to provide services in an indoor and outdoor setting
  • Training and Travel willingness
  • Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
  • Must possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Dashboard)
