As a Medical Unit Receptionist (MUR), you serve as the central hub of communication for the unit—supporting nurses, providers, patients, and families to ensure seamless and efficient daily operations.

What You'll Do
• Serving as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, and interdepartmental communication
• Supporting admissions, transfers, and discharges within the electronic medical record
• Assisting nurses and providers with coordination of care and message routing
• Maintaining accurate documentation, patient charts, and unit logs
• Scheduling tests, procedures, and patient transport as requested
• Ensuring workstations, supply areas, and communication tools remain organized and up to date
• Supporting patient flow in a fast-paced, specialized care environment
