About the Role

This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.

Responsibilities:

Medical Underwriting

  • Update the incoming quotation materials in Proposal System
  • Prepare renewal invitation documents for Group Package Medical Product
  • Provide full support for the Proposal Issuance and Delivery (including the renewal invitation documents)
  • Perform the general clerical duties
  • Prepare the Monthly Turnaround Time Report
  • Assist Manager to underwrite Individual Medical application
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and system UAT
  • Price the group medical quotations in prudent and profitable manner.
  • Assist to strike the balance in between the business top line and bottom line.
  • Assist in delivering professional underwriting services to assess the new business application and benefit upgrade of group medical business

Integrated Healthcare Strategy

  • Assist Medical Insurance Business Line Leader and work closely with other departments, like Sales, Marketing and Operations to promote and deliver the organization's value proposition
  • Coordinate with other departments on reporting progress of developments in Integrated Healthcare Strategy (IHS)
  • Assist in developing innovative IHS and wellness initiatives to support business development in Medical Insurance Business

Requirements:

  • Degree Holder
  • Strong commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs
  • Good PC skills – MS Words, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Accurate and fast data processing skill
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Self-starter and eager to learn
  • Good adaptability with changing environment
  • Co-operative and good working attitude
  • Able to work under great pressure, especially the peak session of group business
