We are looking for a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Technologist (MT), or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our Laboratory team in a PRN (as-needed) capacity

The MLT/MT/MLS performs laboratory testing and procedures that support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This position plays an important role in providing accurate and timely laboratory results that help our clinical team make informed decisions about patient care.
Responsibilities include:
Performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently
Analyzing and interpreting laboratory results according to established procedures
Following quality control and quality assurance standards
Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation
Adhering to established laboratory policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
Contributing to a safe, respectful, and patient-focused laboratory environment

Pay Range: $20.41–$38.56 per hour
Actual compensation is based on factors including education, experience, certifications, and relevant skills. Final compensation will be discussed with Human Resources based on the candidate's qualifications.
Required qualifications include one of the following:
Associate degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program, including coursework in chemistry and biology; or
Associate degree of at least 60 semester hours from an accredited institution, including chemistry and biology, plus a 12-month structured curriculum in medical laboratory techniques; or
Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited institution, including chemistry and biology, plus graduation from a military medical laboratory training program of at least 12 months.
Required qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution;
Completion of an approved ASCP or equivalent certification pathway, or satisfaction of CLIA requirements for HEW certification; and
Completion of one year in an accredited laboratory training program.
Required: Eligibility for certification as an MLT (ASCP), MLT (AMT), HEW, CLS (NCA), or equivalent for individuals completing certification requirements in 2004 or later.
Preferred: Registry within 12 months of completing school/training or equivalent education documentation in accordance with CLIA standards.
Individuals who qualified for certification prior to December 31, 2003, are not required to maintain yearly certification.
Required: Eligibility for certification as an MLS (ASCP), MT (AMT), HEW, CLS (NCA), or equivalent for individuals completing certification requirements in 2004 or later.
Preferred: Certification within 12 months of completing school/training or equivalent education documentation in accordance with CLIA standards.
Individuals who qualified for certification prior to December 31, 2003, are not required to maintain yearly certification.
Previous laboratory experience preferred
