Department: Laboratory
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 3:30pm - 12:00am
As a Medical Technologist II under general supervision you will perform routine and special laboratory assays of patient specimens (e.g., body fluids, exudates, skin scrapings or surgical specimens), exercising independent judgment when evaluating the validity of test results prior to result reporting. Operates and calibrates all equipment in the area of specialization, evaluates the validity of laboratory data, records tests results, communicates with physicians, pathologists and nursing staff regarding test procedures and results.

Required Qualifications:
Must meet the required qualifications for being an individual responsible for competency assessment and have the education and experience to evaluate the complexity of testing being assessed as defined by CAP (College of American Pathologist)
Preferred Qualifications:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

The hourly pay for this role will range from $24 - $43 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
