Medical-Surgical Nurse + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Annual Salary: $80,000 - $110,000

As a Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN), you will provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, conduct assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain accurate medical records. Your role also involves delivering direct patient care effectively and efficiently, catering to patients with varied and complex needs. You will collaborate and communicate with physicians and the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate, coordinate, and maintain compassionate, efficient, and high-quality care while achieving desired treatment outcomes.

In this position, you will demonstrate clinical competence in providing care, utilizing technology, administering medications, performing procedures, and managing emergencies. Acting as a patient and family advocate, you will monitor and maintain patient rights. Your responsibilities will include progressive leadership roles, such as participating in or leading unit and shared governance initiatives, serving as a charge nurse, preceptor to students or new employees, and potentially contributing to service line or hospital-wide initiatives in partnership with management.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing

Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 12 months of Medical-Surgical nursing experience in a healthcare environment

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations Required:

• Texas RN license or temporary TX RN license (permanent license must be obtained within 90 days)

• Compact license acceptable in accordance with current Board of Nursing requirements
