RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and international candidates across hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and community care settings. We are currently seeking a Medical Senior House Officer in Cardiology / General Internal Medicine for a hospital based in Dublin, Ireland. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide direct medical care to cardiology and cath lab patients, including admissions, history and physical examinations, ordering investigations, medication prescribing, completing admission documentation and arranging appropriate follow-up. Assess, review and document patients as requested by Consultants or Nursing Staff, provide ongoing clinical support to Consultants, and promptly escalate any concerns or changes in patient condition. Respond appropriately to emergencies and adverse occurrences, including cardiac arrests, injuries, falls and sudden illnesses, while maintaining patient safety and effective communication with the multidisciplinary team. Support the education and development of medical students, Physician Associate students, medical colleagues and nursing staff, maintain mandatory training requirements, and contribute to quality improvement, risk management and administrative duties. Maintain professional standards and comply with hospital policies, infection control procedures, JCI requirements, blood guidelines, health and safety regulations and working-hour requirements, while contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. Requirements Hold a recognised Medical Degree and current full registration with the Medical Council Demonstrate sufficient medical, diagnostic and management experience and capability to fulfil the requirements of the role Possess excellent supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong sense of responsibility and individual initiative Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in responding to the rapidly changing needs of the hospital environment Have a good working knowledge of English, be an effective team player, and demonstrate motivation, a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail Benefits Top pay and great working conditions Immediate Start, Full-time Permanent Great professional development opportunity Continued education and training.
