Priory Hospital Bristol has an opportunity for a Medical Secretary to join our team.
Priory Hospital Bristol, Stapleton, Bristol is a specialist mental health and addiction treatment service for individuals, families and couples. It provides fast access to treatment for a range of psychiatric conditions and addictions. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Stapleton and Bristol Parkway railway station approximately 2–3 miles from the hospital.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
You will also:
- Provide efficient administrative support to the medical team and hospital.
- Manage appointments, correspondence, records and general office tasks.
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors and healthcare partners.
- Maintain accurate patient information and confidential documentation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of the hospital.
