Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pmMaintains patient records, coordinates patient services and functions as a point of contact for medical staff, patients, care givers, and other healthcare organizations.Performs clerical duties including answering telephones, distributing mail, preparing and filing paperwork, ordering and storing supplies, and the schedules for the department. Responsible for greeting and directing visitors, relaying information and messages to staff. Files documents and test results within medical records. May track physician renewal and credentialing as well as vacation dependent upon department.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Post secondary education or equivalent training in a healthcare or business related field is preferred.
One year of applicable experience.
