On behalf of a global pharmaceutical company, we are supporting the recruitment of a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the Nordic region, with a particular focus on Sweden. In this role, you will act as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals, combining deep therapeutic expertise with strong relationship-building skills. You will contribute to the deployment of the regional medical plan, support clinical research initiatives, and ensure high-quality scientific exchange—always with the patient at the centre.
As Medical Science Liaison Nordics, you are the therapeutic and disease-area expert responsible for developing and cultivating long-term professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) across Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark. You will deliver balanced, accurate and credible scientific information, collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing, and act as a key interface between local stakeholders and global medical functions to support optimal patient journeys and treatment outcomes within allergy care.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with healthcare professionals across the Nordic region, with primary focus on Sweden
Act as the therapeutic and disease-area expert, delivering balanced, high-quality scientific and clinical information tailored to HCP needs
Engage in scientific exchange through one-on-one meetings, advisory boards, roundtables and scientific events
Proactively identify and develop medical experts, opinion leaders and institutional networks
Contribute to the development, execution and follow-up of the Nordic medical plan in close collaboration with Medical Affairs, Sales and Marketing
Support and coordinate clinical and observational studies in the region in collaboration with global clinical teams
Contribute to medical communications including abstracts, posters and publications
Provide scientific support and training to internal teams and participate in key customer interactions together with sales colleagues
Represent Medical Affairs at relevant regional and international congresses
Qualifications and experience
MD, PharmD, PhD or MSc in medical, biological, biochemical or biotechnology sciences
Minimum 5 years of experience in a smililar position, preferably within allergy and/or respiratory disease areas
Strong scientific expertise in immunology, allergology and/or respiratory medicine
Experience working with allergy key opinion leaders is a strong advantage
Experience with clinical, observational and/or real-world evidence (RWE) studies
Native Swedish speaker (alternatively Swedish and Finnish) with professional proficiency in English
Willingness to travel regularly across the Nordic region, primarily Sweden
Strong digital skills and proficiency with standard office tools
