Your new role
As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a pivotal role in driving scientific communication and fostering relationships with healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and building strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to discuss clinical practices and gather valuable insights.
  • Designing and implementing comprehensive educational programs for healthcare professionals, including workshops, webinars, and case studies.
  • Collecting and analysing insights from healthcare professionals to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Supporting the development of scientific communication materials and responding to inquiries from healthcare professionals with expert guidance.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, medical, market access, and clinical operations, to ensure alignment and support across departments.
  • Participating in national and international scientific conferences, workshops, and symposiums to represent Novo Nordisk and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and corporate guidelines in all interactions and maintaining thorough documentation.

Your new department
The Medical Affairs department at Novo Nordisk is at the forefront of driving scientific communication and medical education. We are responsible for establishing and executing scientific communication strategies across clinical trial phases, integrating patient voices, and building strategic relationships with healthcare professionals and international professional associations. Our team is dedicated to supporting healthcare professionals through medical education, scientific meetings, and symposia, while ensuring alignment with internal teams and corporate guidelines. Based in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, we are committed to making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional who meets the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field.
  • Experience working either in Pharmaceutical company or in research institution, with the ability to communicate medical/scientific information clearly in both written and verbal form.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals and KOLs.
  • Strong analytical skills to gather, interpret, and synthesize insights, providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Proficient in English (reading and writing) and native level in Japanese language.
