The Role

We're seeking a passionate Primary Care Medical Sales Representative to join our international expansion into the NZ market, covering the Auckland Region with attached regional travel to the South on a 12month Fixed Term Contract. Working on behalf of a global multinational player, the successful individual will run their territory as their own business unit, building strong customer relationships and driving sales performance while contributing to the launch of exciting new products. As part of one of our top-performing sales teams, you'll play a vital role in improving health outcomes for New Zealanders and making a meaningful impact across your region.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with General Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Nurses
• Manage and develop the assigned territory to achieve sales targets, including travel to regional areas
• Create and execute territory business plans focusing on account management
• Analyse performance targets and measure the impact of prescriber initiatives
• Engage with customers to build trust and confidence in our products
• Secure access to Healthcare Professionals through appointments and drop-ins
• Cultivate positive relationships with HCPs and their support staff

Key Requirements

• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, pharmacy, or related industry.
• Strong business planning, account management, and territory management skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive sustainable growth.
• Experience building effective relationships and collaborating across cross-functional and matrix teams to deliver commercial outcomes.
• A sound understanding of the Australian healthcare landscape, including the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS), pharmacy environment, and factors influencing prescribing and purchasing decisions.
• Experience engaging with General Practitioners, Pharmacists, and other Healthcare Professionals, with knowledge across one or more therapeutic areas and the ability to deliver impactful product education is preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications (a preference but not requisite) in Pharmacy, Science, Health Sciences, or a related discipline, together with a current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory, including regional areas.
