  • Degree in Pharmacy or health sciences
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as Medical Representative or similar
  • Fluent Italian and a good knowledge of English
  • Patent B required

Responsible for ethically and scientifically building the image and the role of Nestlé Health Science within the nutraceutical sector (vitamins, mineral, probiotics, antioxidants, herbs etc.). As a Medical Representative, you will interface with healthcare professionals (HCP) and retailers, within a specified territory, in order to compliantly drive recommendation / advocacy / prescriptions of these products for the HCP and to increase the sell-out in the Retailers. You will ensure proper communication with local colleagues and other relevant team members to better manage the business, and you will achieve goals within approved deadlines, while maintaining constant monitoring of KPI's.

A day in the life of a Medical Representative

  • Organize and carry out training activities for pharmacists with the aim of encouraging the sales of Nestlé Health Science products.
  • Provide scientific information about the characteristics of products in the Nestlè Health Science portfolio to HCP and retailers.
  • Seek differentiation and collaborate as a consultant with pharmacists for the management of the categories covered in Nestlé Health Science portfolio.
  • Regularly visit HCPs/opinion leaders of the specified territory, responding to their needs and managing opportunities, objections and critical issues.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database usage
  • Strong negotiation and selling skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Medical Representative or Pharmaceutical Representative experience is a plus.
  • Working in a multidisciplinary team with different types of HCP's
  • Competent in presenting to large groups
  • Experience with the HCP's and the retailers in the assigned territory would be advantageous.
