Job Title: Medical Representative, Rare Disease - Great Cairo (One-Year Fixed Contract)
Introduction to role:
Are you ready to elevate patient access to rare disease therapies while building commercial excellence in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape? This role puts you at the forefront of our ambition to translate scientific innovation into real outcomes for patients and care teams.
You will represent AstraZeneca across Great Cairo, partnering with specialists and healthcare providers to integrate sales and marketing activity that accelerate launches and grow adoption. In a digitally enabled, insight-driven environment, you will challenge the status quo, spot opportunities others miss, and act on smart risks to shape market momentum.
Accountabilities:
  • Territory Strategy and Integration: Align and oversee sales and marketing activities across the assigned area to deliver cohesive, high-impact execution for rare disease therapies.
  • Performance Delivery and Targets: Achieve and exceed sales KPIs, including visit quality and frequency, sales targets, and territory growth.
  • Customer Engagement Excellence: Conduct high-quality visits that build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and connect evidence to patient need.
  • Market Development: Identify and activate opportunities that expand access, shape local care pathways, and drive sustainable market growth.
  • Insights, Metrics and Reporting: Develop, track, and report performance metrics; use data and field intelligence to refine plans at pace.
  • Compliance and Best Practice: Uphold AstraZeneca policies, ethical standards, and industry best practices in every engagement.
  • Launch Acceleration: Support pre- and post-launch activities to secure rapid uptake and sustained performance across the territory.
Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Pharmacy, Medicine or Vet graduate.
  • Completed military or other governmental obligations.
  • Driving license is required.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Self-motivated, hard worker, team player with innovative skills.

Please Note: Role will be managing more than governorate with Cairo
