As Medical Representative in the Obesity Business Unit, you will bring Novo Nordisk’s obesity strategy to life in your territory. Through clear, scientifically grounded con-versations with specialists, physicians and pharmacies, you will help healthcare professionals get the information and support they need. You will turn customer insights into focused territory actions that drive sustainable growth. Your impact shows up in trusted relationships, stronger results and better support for people living with obesity.

What you’ll bring

  • You are curious about science, energised by customer conversations and motivated to own the results in your territory. You will also bring:
  • A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sci-ences or another relevant scientific discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • The ability to learn complex scientific information quickly and communicate it clearly and relevantly to different customers.
  • A customer-centric mindset: you understand what healthcare professionals need and create interactions that deliver real value to them and support better patient outcomes.
  • Business acumen – an understanding of market dynamics, customer potential, the competitive landscape and key performance drivers, and the ability to use in-sights and data to spot opportunities.
  • Confident, credible communication and influencing skills, adapted to different customers and situations.
  • The discipline to turn strategy into focused actions, prioritise effectively and follow through, taking ownership of your territory’s performance.
  • A collaborative approach: you share knowledge and contribute positively to team performance.

Useful, but not essential:

  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical sales, ideally in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience managing a territory, customer portfolio or defined business obectives.
  • A valid UAE driving licence.

What you’ll do

  • Your focus is sustainable business growth in your assigned territory, built on strong scientific communication and relationships that last. You will:
  • Promote and sell Novo Nordisk products to specialists, physicians, pharmacies and distributors in your territory, executing the obesity strategy with focus.
  • Plan and carry out visits to existing and new customers to present products, share accurate information and support their needs.
  • Assess each customer’s needs and recommend the Novo Nordisk products and services that meet them best.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer questions and concerns.
  • Report adverse events, product quality complaints and other safety information without delay, in line with Novo Nordisk procedures and applicable regulatory and pharmacovigilance requirements.
  • Build strong, trusted customer relationships and turn customer insights into territory actions that create future growth.

Who you’ll work with

You will join the Obesity Business Unit within International Operations, where colleagues work across markets to serve people around the world and help improve health at scale. You will report to Associate Sales Manager Mohamed Mohran

Day to day, your closest partners will be the specialists, physicians, pharmacies and distributors in your territory. Inside Novo Nordisk, you will work alongside fellow Medical Representatives and colleagues across functions, sharing what you learn in the field so the team can act on it quickly. When things stall, you speak up; when a decision is made, you move forward with the team.
